Immunotherapy for Melanoma: Recent Advances and Future Directions

The American Cancer Society estimates that in 2025 about 104,960 new cases of invasive melanomas will be diagnosed in the United States. While the rates of melanoma diagnoses have increased in recent years among people of a certain age, the use of immunotherapy in the treatment of advanced and high-risk melanoma has led to a striking improvement in outcomes. In recognition of Skin Cancer Awareness Month and May 5 as Melanoma Monday, join Constantin Dasanu, MD, PhD, Board Certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology/Oncology, for a presentation on advances in the treatment and management of melanoma and promising research on future technologies.
