Growing up, Dr. Castellon excelled in science and wanted to work in health care, so becoming a physician was an easy decision. "Many of my family members work in health care," she states. "Along the way, my godmother had cancer and I became interested in becoming an oncologist from my experience in helping her through her treatments."
Dr. Castellon's goal for every patient is to provide the best care possible. "I come alongside my patients and provide education and make recommendations, and then we jointly make decisions on a care plan that best suits the patient's lifestyle and goals. This field is always changing and it's important to provide patient with the most up-to-date options available. My role is to help patients navigate a very complex system to get the best results available."
