Asnakech C. Bayable, MD

Asnakech Bayable, MD, is a hematologist/oncologist at the Eisenhower Lucy Curci Cancer Center in Rancho Mirage. She treats patients with all types of cancer. After earning her medical degree, Dr. Bayable completed a residency program in internal medicine at Alameda Health System-Highland Hospital in Oakland, CA, and most recently, a fellowship program in hematology/oncology at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.

"I want to help people diagnosed with cancer and blood disorders to successfully navigate a very complex health care system. It's my desire to help make this process as easy as possible for my patients," Dr. Bayable states.

"I take great care in providing treatment for patients diagnosed with cancer in a holistic, individualized manner, aligning options with patients' values and lifestyles. No patient is the same and no treatment is the same," explains Dr. Bayable. 

"When it comes to cancer, the whole family is involved and the focus on the patients' values and what is important to them is key in developing a treatment plan that best meets these needs. My job is to guide patients and their families by providing them with the information and options they need to produce the care plan that works for them. Individualized care is the foundation to my practice."
