Daniel Rochin, MD, is a Board Certified Family Medicine physician and fellowship-trained in Sports Medicine. A native of Los Angeles, he began his medical journey at the age of 18, attending medical school in Poland and graduating from Wroclaw Medical University. He returned to California to complete his residency in Family Medicine at Temecula Valley Hospital, where he emphasized lifestyle medicine - focusing on stress reduction, quality sleep, and the importance of human connection. He then completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Eisenhower Health, earning his second board certification.
Dr. Rochin provides holistic sports medicine care, blending modern medical techniques with lifestyle-based strategies. His approach includes home exercise prescriptions, nutrition counseling, and expertise in advanced procedures such as joint and tendon injections, nerve blocks and hydro dissection, trigger point therapy, and regenerative treatments like platelet-rich plasma (PRP/PPP) and prolotherapy. He is also advancing his practice to include cutting-edge modalities such as shockwave therapy, Tenex, and bone marrow aspirate concentrate (BMAC). In addition, he specializes in the primary management of osteoporosis.
On the sidelines, Dr. Rochin has served as a sports physician for professional athletes and major sporting events, including MMA, professional tennis, ultramarathons, triathlons, Major League Soccer, and collegiate football and softball. His passion for athletics is personal - he is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt, practices Pilates, and integrates sauna and cold plunge therapy into his daily routine.
Beyond clinical work, Dr. Rochin is a published author of medical reference books in both family and sports medicine. He also serves his country as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Reserves. Above all, he values time with his wife and family.
