Specialties
- Neurology
In addition to general neurology, Dr. Richeh directs nerve conduction and EMG studies as well as seeing patients with all types of neurologic disorders including but not limited to Parkinson's disease, dementia, headache, migraine, seizures and epilepsy, cervical and lumbar radiculopathy, polyneuropathy, neuromuscular diseases such as myasthenia gravis, ALS, multiple sclerosis, neuromyelitis optica, gait abnormalities and polymyositis.
Growing up in a family of physicians, Dr. Richeh observed his elders and saw how they helped people and took great satisfaction in their work, so pursuing medicine was a natural path. "I was always interested in neurology," stated Dr. Richeh. "In my biased opinion it is the most fascinating specialty in medicine - the brain is the "maestro" of the whole body...it directs and facilitates all other functions of the body. It drives behavior, memory and personality. This specialty captures me and holds my attention."
With regard to his approach to patient care, "I learned from father - 'treat every patient as if they were part of my family'. It is my job to providing a compassionate listen ear and provide the least invasive investigation to diagnose a disorder, using the best treatments and procedures to yield the best outcome possible."
