Ursula J. Simonoski, MD

Ursula Simonoski, MD, is a family medicine physician seeing patients in Rancho Mirage. She earned her medical degree from the University of California Riverside School of Medicine and completed her family medicine residency at Eisenhower Health.

Originally from Peru, Dr. Simonoski dreamed of becoming a doctor from an early age. She began medical school shortly after high school but was unable to finish. Years later - after relocating to the United States, marrying, and raising a family - she returned to school to pursue that dream. "I was determined to fulfill my goal of becoming a primary care physician," she says. "With a lot of hard work and determination, I am now starting my career as a doctor, and I couldn''t be happier."

Dr. Simonoski was drawn to primary care for its breadth: the variety of medical issues, the range of ages, and the diversity of backgrounds among her patients. She believes that being a great primary care physician starts with being a keen listener and pairing that with broad medical knowledge to properly diagnose and manage each patient''s care.
