    Kam Newman, MD, is double Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. He received his medical degree from Teheran University with honors and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in New York, New York, earning the top ten score in American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).  Dr. Newman completed his first fellowship program at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic, Ohio and his second fellowship program at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Arthritis, Musculoskeletal and Skin Disease (NIAMS).

    Dr. Newman uses cutting-edge science with musculoskeletal ultrasound and color Doppler to produce pictures of muscles, tendons, ligaments, and joints throughout the body to help diagnose sprains, strains, tears and other soft tissue conditions for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.

    In addition, Dr. Newman has published several peer-reviewed articles and books regarding large-vessel vasculitis, systemic lupus erythematosus, autoimmune neuropathy and other autoimmune disorders including autoimmune neutropenia, gene therapy, and medical ethics. Dr. Newman is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Rheumatology and serves as both ABIM and American Board of Medical Specialty Diplomat.
