Keith M. Markley, MD

Keith Markley, MD, is Board Certified in General Adult Psychiatry with added qualifications in Geriatric and Addiction Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Markley received his medical degree and completed his residency in Psychiatry from the Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio while serving in the United States Air Force.

With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Markley has been in private practice, as well as in public service as a mental Health Psychiatrist with Los Angeles County.

Always interested in medicine, Dr. Markley had earned a Master of Arts degree in History while in the military when a new medical school opened nearby and he decided to pursue medical degree. During his rotations he became most interested in psychiatry as a sub-specialty.

Dr. Markley welcomes the opportunity of working in partnership with each person in his/her journey toward health and wellness. “I try to get my patients to understand that we are co-treating and that collaboration in the process of treating their issue(s) is key to success,” states Dr. Markley. “I encourage my patients to take responsibility for their care, which establishes a good foundation for success."
