During my residency, I was drawn to geriatric medicine as a subspecialty by its great challenges and complexities.”
“I believe mutual respect is a foundation in working with my patients,” states Dr. Moshiri. “I approach my patient with a ‘5M Framework’ focusing on 1) mobility, 2) mental wellness, 3) medication (not over medicating), 4) what matters most and 5) addressing their multiple complex conditions. My aim is to provide a holistic, patient-centered, age-friendly approach to improve quality of life while maintaining the dignity of older patients.”
As one of the directors of Geriatric Medicine Fellowship Program at Eisenhower Health, Dr. Moshiri is involved in the training of medical residents and geriatric fellows.
