Eduardo Ramirez, MD, is a primary care physician seeing patients at the Eisenhower Health Center - North Palm Desert. Dr. Ramirez is Board Certified in Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine. He has been a primary care physician in the Coachella Valley for the past several years.
Dr. Ramirez earned his undergraduate degree in neuroscience and from the University of California, Irvine and his medical degree for the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. While in medical school he also earned an MBA from the Paul Merage School of Business at UC Irvine. He then completed his residency in family medicine from the UC Irvine Family Medicine residency program.
Always interested in science, Dr. Ramirez studied neuroscience while in college and, after a positive volunteer experience in Mexico with a medical service organization, he was inspired to go to medical school. He decided to become a primary care physician as he was always interested in developing long-term relationships with patients. He is interested in lifestyle medicine and believes that nutrition is as important at medicine therapies in addressing health issues.
“My goal is to provide a high quality of care to all patients,” states Dr. Ramirez. “I approach each patient individually, keeping in mind everyone’s life journey is different. Building a personal relationship with my patients is important as I want to understand patient’s stress points and lifestyle goals in order to provide proper treatment.”
