An IRA charitable rollover (also referred to as a QCD- a qualified charitable distribution). Donors 72 or older can make tax-free gifts of up to $105,000 per year in 2024 and $108,000 in 2025, directly from their IRA.

There’s nothing like a health crisis to force you to get your affairs in order. It made us realize we could do some smart estate planning and make a large gift to Eisenhower. We opted to donate real estate through a charitable trust and couldn’t be happier about it.
