You may also donate real estate during your lifetime, as opposed to making a bequest in your will. Eisenhower accepts multiple types of property. Another option is to sell your property to Eisenhower at a price below market value and receive a portion of the proceeds and a substantial tax deduction.

The creation of a charitable trust allowed us to donate our condo, while still using it for life, receive an annual return of 5% of the trust’s value and a generous tax deduction. Plus, we became major donors, which gave us access to 24/7. A total win-win!
