Hip replacement surgery is a highly successful procedure for treatment of pain originating from arthritis, avascular necrosis or other causes. Multiple techniques for hip replacement exist and there is much debate regarding the optimal surgical approach to perform this surgery. Please join Orthopedic Surgeon David Christian, MD, for a discussion about the various surgical approaches utilized by surgeons and whether choice of approach impacts patient outcomes.
