Total Hip Replacement: What's the Right Approach?

Hip replacement surgery is a highly successful procedure to treatment of pain originating from arthritis, avascular necrosis or other causes. Multiple techniques for hip replacement exist and there is much debate regarding the optimal surgical approach to perform this surgery. Please join Orthopedic Surgeon David Christian, MD, for a discussion on the various surgical approaches total joint replacement surgeons utilize and if choice of approach impacts patient outcomes.
