Physical Therapy
Physical therapists at Eisenhower Health use a teamwork approach to provide patients with the highest quality care possible to maximize patient outcomes. Each patient is assessed by a licensed physical therapist and given an individualized treatment plan to address their specific needs. Eisenhower's physical therapists have many advanced certifications, unmatched by any other provider in the Coachella Valley, and utilize the latest in medical technology as required for each patient's specific plan.
In addition to the inpatient acute hospital areas, Physical Therapy services are provided in multiple outpatient locations. With outpatient Physical Therapy offices in Rancho Mirage, Palm Springs and La Quinta, the Rehabilitation Services department is able to offer our wide range of physical therapy services throughout the Coachella valley.
Eisenhower Rehabilitation Services employs over 50 licensed physical therapists and physical therapy assistants, with a wide range of specialties and advanced certifications, including Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT), Doctorate of Science (DSc), Orthopedic Clinical Specialists (OCS), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists (CSCS), Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialists (CEAS) and Lymphedema and Vestibular Rehabilitation Certifications. Physical Therapists at Eisenhower Medical Center treat patients of all ages from pediatrics through geriatrics. In addition to traditional Physical Therapy services, multiple specialty programs, including Cancer, Driving, Balance, Hand Therapy, Injured Workers, Joint Replacement, Lymphedema, Stroke/Neuroscience, Orthopedic/Sports, Pediatrics, Pelvic Health, Spinal care, Cognitive, and Swallow programs are offered to address the specialized needs of our patient populations.

Speech Therapy
Speech Language Pathologists at Eisenhower Health use a teamwork approach to provide patients with the highest quality care possible to maximize patient outcomes. Each patient is assessed by a licensed speech language pathologist and given an individualized treatment plan to address their specific needs. Eisenhower’s speech language pathologists have advanced certifications, unmatched by any other provider in the Coachella Valley, and utilize the latest in medical technology as required for each patient's specific plan.
In addition to the inpatient acute hospital areas, speech therapy services are provided in the Dolores Hope Building at Eisenhower Health in Rancho Mirage.
Eisenhower Rehabilitation Services employs over 7 speech language pathologists, to treat patients of all ages from pediatrics through geriatrics. In addition to traditional speech therapy services, multiple specialty programs, including Cancer, Injured Workers, Stroke/Neuroscience, Swallow, and Cognitive programs are offered to address the specialized needs of our patient populations.
