Sports Medicine: Injury Prevention for the Aging Athlete
- Annenberg Health Sciences Building
- 06/24/2026
- From 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Join Daniel Rochin, MD, Board Certified in Family Medicine and fellowship-trained in Sports Medicine, for a discussion about common sports-related injuries seen in active older adults, as well as among athletes in professional sports played locally like Major League Soccer, the BNP Paribas Open and the Coachella Valley Firebirds. Learn more about imaging considerations and evidence-based nonoperative management (regenerative medicine like PRP, A2M, Prolotherapy, MFAT, BMAC). Dr. Rochin will touch on staying fit as we age and comprehensive "weekend warrior" care including diet, exercise, supplements, and office-based procedures like dry needling and shockwave.
