Eisenhower Allergy and Immunology Clinic is the only practice in the region currently offering accelerated allergy shots, a protocol that allows the “loading” doses of allergy shots to be given at an accelerated rate, allowing a patient to reach the maintenance stage more efficiently. Patients appreciate the efficiency of this process as it will reduce the number of months of loading doses significantly. Two different accelerated protocols are offered for appropriate patients. The traditional protocol is available as well.
