Eisenhower Health Designated a "Straight A" Hospital by The Leapfrog Group

New Grade for Fall 2024 Highlights Commitment to Patient Safety

Eisenhower Health is the ONLY hospital in the Coachella Valley to earn an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group, a leading independent national watchdog organization dedicated to patient safety. Additionally, in Leapfrog’s fall 2024 safety grade recording cycle, Eisenhower was also a designated “Straight A” hospital for earning an “A” in at least five consecutive Hospital Safety Grade reporting cycles. This top grade recognizes Eisenhower Health’s continued dedication to protecting patients from errors, injuries, accidents, and infections.

The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is the only hospital ratings program exclusively focused on preventable medical errors, infections, and injuries, which claim the lives of more than 500 patients daily in the United States. The peer-reviewed, transparent grading system evaluates hospitals twice annually, in the spring and fall, based on more than 30 performance measures.
