American College of Cardiology’s Chest Pain — MI Registry Silver Performance Achievement Award honors excellence in heart attack treatment
Eisenhower Health has been recognized with the American College of Cardiology’s NCDR Chest Pain — MI Registry Silver Performance Achievement Award for 2025, making it one of only 79 hospitals nationwide to receive this prestigious honor.
This award highlights Eisenhower Health’s commitment to delivering a higher standard of care for patients experiencing heart attacks and acknowledges the hospital’s success in following rigorous treatment guidelines developed by the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association.
To receive the Chest Pain — MI Registry Silver Performance Achievement Award, Eisenhower Health demonstrated sustained excellence in key clinical performance measures over four consecutive quarters in 2024. The hospital’s full participation in the registry reflects a dedication to continuous quality improvement using data-driven insights to enhance patient outcomes.
“It is an honor to award Eisenhower Health with the Silver Performance Award for their valuable national leadership and dedication to meeting comprehensive performance measures in patient care,” says Michael C. Kontos, MD, FACC, Chair of the NCDR Chest Pain — MI Registry Steering Subcommittee and cardiologist at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center. “The receipt of this award indicates that Eisenhower Health remains committed to providing top quality, guideline-driven care for heart attack patients. Their success ensures patients are receiving the highest quality cardiovascular care.”
