Breastfeeding Basics - Friday Session

This fun and informative class introduces pregnant couples to the benefits of breastfeeding your newborn. Led by a lactation specialist, parents will learn about the natural changes of the breast during pregnancy and after delivery. Topics of discussion in this class include how milk is produced, how and when to breastfeed, swaddling, positioning baby at breast, skin-to-skin benefits and the Golden Hour.
Usually held the first Friday of each month, 1 to 3 p.m. (some months the date may vary, call to confirm prior to arrival). Registration required. Please do not attempt to register prior to two months before due date.
