Breastfeeding Basics - Saturday Sessions

This fun and informative class introduces pregnant couples to the benefits of breastfeeding your newborn. Led by a lactation specialist, parents will learn about the natural changes of the breast during pregnancy and after delivery. Topics of discussion in this class include: how milk is produced, how and when to breastfeed, swaddling, positioning baby at breast, skin-to-skin benefits and the Golden Hour.
This class is held the second Saturday of each month, 1 to 3 p.m. (some months the date may vary, call to confirm prior to arrival). Registration required. Please do not attempt to register prior to two months before due date.
