Childbirth Preparation - Thursday Session

In this informative childbirth class led by a Registered Nurse, lactation specialist, Certified Lactation Consultant and a Childbirth Educator, you will gain a broad knowledge base of the childbirth experience. It will help mothers build confidence in your body’s ability to give birth. Your birth support partner will learn the best ways to support on your big day. The instructor will discuss evidence-based pain relief options such as massage, relaxation, breathing techniques, medication, and epidural analgesia. 

This class, taught in a three-hour session, is perfect for couples that want to be prepared for their little one’s arrival. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. This class will give parents the opportunity to ask questions about the facilities birth policies and practices. 

Held fourth Thursday of each month, noon to 3 p.m. Registration required. Please do not attempt to register prior to two months before due date.
