Mindfulness based stress reduction, practicing breath awareness and guided imagery has shown benefit in reducing anxiety and supporting better coping capacity both during and after cancer treatments. Connecting with breath and bringing calmness to the mind can help reduce stress levels, foster better pain management skills, increase energy and improve sleep for both cancer patients and cancer survivors.
