Intensive Cardiac Rehabilitation: Nutritional Education and Lifestyle Modification Techniques

Intensive Cardiac Rehabilitation (ICR) is a comprehensive program designed to support patients recovering from heart-related conditions by promoting sustainable lifestyle changes for long-term heart health. This lecture will cover key components of ICR, including supervised exercise, and patient lifestyle modification education on the three pillars: exercise, nutrition, and healthy mindset education. Join Sonia Rios, BSN, RN, Manager, Cardiovascular Rehabilitation, Renker Wellness Center, and Talia Fraser, MPH, RDN, Clinical Dietitian, Renker Wellness Center, to understand how lifestyle modification works toward a heart-healthy life.
Attend virtually or in-person at the Annenberg Health Sciences Building, which will be immediately followed by the monthly meeting of Mended Hearts of the Coachella Valley, or virtually.
