Join Edward McDonald, DO, fellowship-trained in Orthopedic Surgery, as he explains various types of ankle fractures - including lateral, medial, posterior malleolus, bimalleolar, and trimalleolar fractures. Learn about the various methods, like stress X-rays and CT scans, to diagnose an ankle fracture, the role of ligaments in stability, and surgical treatments such as fixation techniques and syndesmotic screw placement to ensure proper alignment and recovery.
