Understanding Sacroiliac Joint Pain

Sacroiliac joint pain, often resulting from injury, degeneration or inflammation, may cause pain characterized as dull, achy or sharp pain in the lower back, hips and buttocks, sometimes radiating down the legs. Join Tejas Shah, MD, Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, for an overview of sacroiliitis (the painful inflammation of sacroiliac joints), common clinical symptoms, differential, diagnostic findings and clinical pearls, plus treatment options including medications, rehab, and injections or surgeries.
