- From 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
According to the American Cancer Society, more than 158,000 American will be diagnosed with colorectal cancer - with an increasing amount of diagnoses in adults under 50. Join us for a community conversation on colorectal cancer that puts patients at the center of care. This interactive presentation features a panel of specialists - including a gastroenterologist, colorectal surgeon, medical oncologist and radiation oncologist - who work as a coordinated team to guide patients from prevention and early detection through treatment and survivorship. Learn how a collaborative, patient-centered approach leads to better communication, personalized care and improved outcomes.
In addition to the lecture, attendees will be able to walk through a giant inflatable replica of a human colon that illustrates the development of colorectal cancer and helps visitors gain a better understanding of how colorectal cancer is identified and can be effectively treated, when detected early.
Panel includes:
Henry Tsai, MD, MD, Board Certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology
John Einck, MD, Board Certified in Radiation Oncology
