John W. Larson Foundation Trauma Center Ribbon Cutting

Eisenhower Health is proud to announce its designation as a Level IV Trauma Center effective October 7, 2022. Riverside County EMS Agency (REMSA) has updated their website and educated local EMS teams of Eisenhower’s participation in the trauma system.

Attaining approval by REMSA was a lengthy process, made possible not only through the tireless efforts of Eisenhower’s staff and dedicated physicians but also through community and donor support.

Achieving trauma center designation involves very specific requirements and costs associated with putting a program like this in place. A special "thank you" to the John Larson Foundation for their generous support, and to our dedicated team of physicians, nurses and staff for their hard work and tireless effort to make this accomplishment happen.
