Evening of Caring...About Women and Cancer: Lowering Your Risks with Cancer Screenings
Annenberg Health Sciences Building
Thursday, February 23, 2023
5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Recent studies have shown that four in 10 Americans surveyed reported delaying or avoiding screenings during the COVID-19 pandemic. Screening tests can find some cancers early – when treatment works best.
In honor of Evening of Caring...About Women and Cancer, Eisenhower Lucy Curci Cancer Center will host a presentation with a panel of cancer experts discussing cancer screening. Learn more about screenings that may lower your risk of getting certain cancers such as lung, esophageal, pancreatic, skin, cervical and breast cancers. Presentations by the panel will be followed by a reception and time to meet and ask questions. Guests will be entered in a drawing for a designer handbag.
In addition to exceptional treatment, at the Eisenhower Lucy Curci Cancer Center we are committed to helping prevent and catch cancer early in locations across the valley.
Panel includes:
• Mamta Mehta, MD, Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Paul Sylvan, MD, Board Certified in Radiology
• Justin Thomas, MD, Board Certified in Pulmonary Disease
• Henry Tsai, MD, Board Certified in Medical Oncology
• Patty Garcia, RN, Oncology Nurse Navigator
• Cari Sudmeier, RN, NP
Reservations are required by 02/23/2023
