You Can Do Right Now as Part of Your Wellness Routine

Creative Salad Making
When making your next salad, try new ingredients: baby kale, purple cabbage, sunflower sprouts, grated carrots and broccoli stems, avocado, fresh berries and a sprinkling of feta cheese. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and aged balsamic vinegar or fresh squeezed lemon juice. 

Go Camping
As the temperatures start dropping, plan to camp out at Joshua Tree National Park for a few days. Or rent an abode nearby. Spend your days hiking and evenings stargazing.

Rest Your Eyes
Take frequent breaks and rest your eyes, as often as possible. Stress, screen time overuse and dry air are all reasons to close your eyes, breathe deeply and sit quietly for a few minutes throughout the day.

Plan Ahead
De-stress your life by planning ahead. Use a calendar, create priority lists and plan daily activities and tasks, allowing for breaks and rejuvenation. 

Volunteer
Giving back to your community can be a great way to make new friends and involve yourself in new activities. And it feels pretty good, too.
