Eisenhower Health Recognized as an Age-Friendly Health System

Eisenhower Health has been recognized by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement as part of the national Age-Friendly Health Systems movement, with its Geriatric Ambulatory Clinic achieving the highest level of recognition - Committed to Care Excellence.

This designation reflects Eisenhower Health’s commitment to providing the highest quality care for older adults by consistently practicing the 4Ms Framework: What Matters, Medication, Mentation and Mobility. Over the past several months, Eisenhower Health has tracked and measured its delivery of these evidence-based elements of care across multiple settings, including its emergency department and primary and specialty care clinics.

Eisenhower Health joins a network of more than 2,600 hospitals, practices, nursing homes and home health care organizations nationwide recognized at the Committed to Care Excellence level of the Age-Friendly Health System initiative. Collectively, the broader movement now includes more than 5,200 organizations worldwide, reaching more than 5.4 million older adults with age-friendly care.
