Marjaneh Rouhani, MD

Marjaneh Rouhani, MD, is a Board Certified Psychiatrist, double boarded in Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry, seeing patients at Eisenhower Behavioral Health in Rancho Mirage. She is a Diplomat American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and Fellow of American Psychiatric Association. Following her residency in General Psychiatry she completed her Geriatric Psychiatric Fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center, Albert Einstein Medical College in New York City.

Dr. Rouhani pursued her passion in psychosomatic medicine and psychiatric aspects of cancer at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and served as Chief Fellow as well as attending psychiatrist in Psycho-Oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. She has published articles related to pain, depression and psychiatric aspects of cancer.

She believes promoting person's inner resources and resilience as monumental to cope with the impact of trauma and stressful life experiences while finding the right psychopharmacological approach on an individual basis detrimental to pave the path for healing to restore wellbeing and life satisfaction.
