Amit P. Ladani, MD

Amit Ladani, MD, is Board Certified in Internal Medicine specializing in Rheumatology seeing patients at the main Eisenhower Health campus in Rancho Mirage. He earned his medical degree and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at B.J. Medical College in Ahmedabad, India. He then spent nine years in private practice as Internist, before relocating to the United States, where he pursued a second Internal Medicine residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He subsequently completed a Rheumatology fellowship at the University of Massachusetts in Worcester, MA.

Following his fellowship, Dr. Ladani practiced at Indiana Regional Medical Center in Indiana, PA, and later joined the faculty at West Virginia University (WVU) in Morgantown, WV. During his time at WVU, he served as Interim Section Chief of the Division of Rheumatology.

Dr. Ladani's passion for medicine began early, inspired by his father, a dedicated family physician. His exposure to the profession instilled in him a deep commitment to patient care. While training in the U.S., Dr. Ladani worked alongside leading rheumatologists, which sparked his interest in the field. He was drawn to Rheumatology for its complexity, its systemic nature, and the long-term relationships it fosters between patients and physicians.

He lives by the principle that a great physician must embody "availability, affability, and ability." Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Ladani enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and hiking.
