Amanda Rittenberg, MD, is Board Certified in Family Medicine and seeing patients at Eisenhower Health Center - North Palm Desert. She recently finished her residency with Eisenhower Health and has now joined Eisenhower's medical staff. Before her residency at Eisenhower Health, Dr. Rittenberg attended medical school in Poland. In addition to primary care, Dr. Rittenberg has a special interest in obesity medicine.
Dr. Rittenberg first became interested in health care watching her stepfather deal with sickness when she was young. "I decided to become a primary care physician because it affords me to see patients of all ages with a variety of health needs," states Dr. Rittenberg.
"Patient care is a team effort -I can provide expertise and education, but my patient and I work together in shared decision-making to figure out what evidence-basted treatment(s) is/are best suited to their lifestyle. Quality of life is important and I am willing to work with patients based on what they are will to pursue."
