Yalda Chalabi, DO

Yalda Chalabi, DO, is Board Certified in Family Medicine seeing patients six years and older at the Eisenhower Health Center, North Palm Desert. She completed residency in family medicine at Community Memorial Health Systems in Ventura, CA. In addition to chronic issues such as hypertension and diabetes, Dr. Chalabi has a special interest in obesity medicine.

Dr. Chalabi became interested in medicine as a child watching her father navigate through health issues. "I saw that our primary care physician was the one that guided him through the maze of doctors and treatments," she states. "She really quarterbacked his health care journey and was present for my father and our family through his illness. I was inspired by that and decided I wanted to become a primary care physician." Dr. Chalabi decided on family medicine as she liked the idea of seeing families at all stages of life, over a long period of time.

"I strive to create an environment for my patients where they feel comfortable in being vulnerable with me. That's the best way I can address their health concerns.  I want patients to want to come see me!"
