Ashraf Zadshir, MD

Ashraf Zadshir, MD, is Board Certified in Family Medicine with extensive experience in primary care, including pediatrics and women's health. She is an Eisenhower Primary care 365 physician at North Palm Desert Clinic.

Dr. Zadshir completed her medical education in Düsseldorf, Germany. After relocating to the United States, she pursued her residency in Family Medicine at USC-California Medical Center in Los Angeles. During her tenure at Borrego Health, she completed a fellowship in HIV Medicine and later founded and directed the Graduate Medical Education program for the organization. 

In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Zadshir has been a dedicated medical educator throughout her career. She has played an integral role at Eisenhower's Center for Family Medicine, mentoring and teaching residents in primary care and family medicine since the launch of its Family Medicine Residency Program in 2013.

As a researcher, Dr. Zadshir has authored multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals, including JAMA, with a focus on hypertension and chronic kidney disease.

In recognition of her contributions to healthcare and community service, Dr. Zadshir was honored as "Woman of the Year" by the Governor and the California State Assembly during International Women''s Day-an acknowledgment of her enduring commitment to the health and well-being of the people of California.
