Kamal Patel, MD

Kamal Patel, MD, is Board Certified in Radiation Oncology, and is the Medical Director of the Eisenhower Lucy Curci Cancer Center- BIGHORN Radiation  Oncology Center. Dr. Patel earned his medical degree from The Chicago Medical School and completed his residency training at Oregon Health and Science University, Portland, Oregon. Dr. Patel comes to Eisenhower from the Cancer Treatment Centers of America near Chicago, where he treated cancer patients since 2007. 

As Dr. Patel considered a career path in his early years, he knew he wanted to make a positive difference in people’s lives, so he ventured into a career in medicine. “I am very blessed to be a provider of health care,” states Dr. Patel. “It is so gratifying to be able to make a difference in my patients’ lives. I love being an oncologist and being able to support and guide patients and their caregivers during such difficult times.”

Late in medical school, Dr. Patel did a rotation in radiology/oncology. “I have never looked back. My field allows me to collaborate with the health care experts from all fields and use incredible technology to give each patient the best care possible.”
