“Treating geriatric patients requires a different strategy. Intellectually, it is very stimulating because most geriatric patients have multiple, concurrent problems. There is an art to managing each problem while engaging the patient in meaningful interaction and listening to their concerns. One of my goals is to help my patients have a better quality of life and to help them understand the process of aging and what to expect.”
