After graduating from UCLA, Dr. Reinhart attended medical school at Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. He completed his residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, where he was chief resident. Dr. Reinhart is a board certified Anesthesiologist with board certified training in Pain Management. He has authored a number of articles in Anesthesiology dealing with patient safety. He wrote two chapters in the pain management textbook Decision Making in Anesthesiology.
In 1991 he joined the medical staff at Eisenhower Medical Center where he served as Chief of Anesthesiology. Dr. Reinhart decided to devote his energy toward pain management problems and in 1998, started his own practice. In 2000 he founded Advanced Pain Management Surgical Center, dedicated to pain management procedures. He served on the Rancho Mirage City Health and Welfare Commission from 2005-2007 and is a current member of the Palm Desert High School Foundation. He has been voted "Top Doctor" in Palm Springs Life Magazine for 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. Dr. Reinhart's philosophy is, "now, more then ever, you have options to alleviate your pain."
