Iris is a digital assistant from Eisenhower Health that works with your care team to make sure your surgery and recovery go smoothly.
Once your procedure is scheduled, you will receive text messages from Iris at 760-309-7170. Later in 2026, patients will also receive calls from Iris at 760-837-8022. These texts and phone calls will include important personalized reminders, instructions, and questions from Eisenhower Health's Pre-Anesthesia Testing Department.
Iris is available 24/7 to answer questions and connect you with your care team. Please note that Iris is an electronic assistant and should not be used in place of emergency services; if you are in immediate medical distress, please call 911.

Do I have to sign up for this service?
No. If you have a scheduled a procedure at Eisenhower Health, you will automatically receive text and phone messages from Iris.
Can Iris speak my language?
Iris can converse with you in your language of choice, but please note that recurring reminders will be texted in English.
Is there a cost to use this service?
This service is provided by Eisenhower Health with no cost to you. Standard texting and calling rates from your mobile carrier may apply.
Can I stop receiving these messages?
Yes. You can stop receiving messages from Iris at any time; simply respond to any message from Iris saying that you would like to opt out of future text messages.
