Urgent Care

Many health conditions are not life-threatening, and with onsite laboratory capabilities such as urinalysis, influenza screening, pregnancy testing and glucose monitoring, Eisenhower Urgent Care can diagnose or treat many common illnesses immediately. Onsite radiology services allow for quick diagnosis of fractures and sprains. If needed, patients may be referred to a physician for specialized medical care or hospitalization. Physicians staffing Eisenhower Urgent Care are Board Certified in internal medicine or family practice.

Eisenhower Urgent Care offers locations in Rancho Mirage, Palm Springs and La Quinta, with convenient medical consultations on a walk-in basis. Patients without a primary care physician who need follow-up care after their Urgent Care visit can make an appointment with an available primary care physician.

Eisenhower Urgent Care is open most holidays, and is a participating provider for Medicare and most private insurances.

IMPORTANT BILLING NOTICE

Please note that each Eisenhower Urgent Care location is a hospital-based service, which has different billing requirements than other, stand-alone urgent care clinics. Your visit to Eisenhower Urgent Care will be billed as an office visit (rather than an urgent care visit) and your insurance provider may process it as an “out-of-network” service, resulting in an additional cost to you beyond the co-pay. This information will be also provided in the electronic conditions of treatment document you will sign as part of your visit should you choose to receive care.
