Please join Eisenhower Health for our second annual HIV Interprofessional Symposium. The guiding principles for this symposium are to educate and train healthcare professionals to address the healthcare needs of People with HIV (PWH) through interprofessional team-based learning, education, and collaboration. This educational activity will cover advances in HIV/AIDS medicine, focusing on issues related to patient care and offering an opportunity to interact with leaders in this ever-evolving specialty.
This interprofessional educational activity has been targeted toward the members of the frontline team caring for persons with or at risk of acquiring HIV. This could include physicians, advanced practice nurses/NPs, PAs, nurses, pharmacists, medical case managers (including social workers, adherence counselors, and treatment advocates), and other allied health professionals caring for people with HIV in both primary care and specialist settings. CE credit will be available.

Selections of the AIDS Memorial Quilt will be on display at the Annenberg Health Sciences Building. As the largest community arts project in the world, the AIDS Memorial Quilt is a teaching tool to help educate people about HIV/AIDS and its continued impact today and to remember the 700,000 U.S. lives lost in the four decades since the first cases were reported.
