What are your hours of operation?
Our hours at the Center are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
How do I schedule an appointment?
If you are a self-referred new patient and know the Eisenhower Desert Cardiology physician whom you wish to see, simply call our office at 760-346-0642 and request to speak with that physician's scheduler to make your appointment.
If you do not have a preferred physician or wish for the first available appointment, ask to speak to our New Patient Coordinator and you will be forwarded to the physician scheduler with the next available appointment time.
Please be prepared to provide the following information at the time you make your appointment:
- Name
- Address
- Telephone number
- Social Security number
- Complete insurance information
- Diagnosis (reason for consultation)
- Name, address and telephone number of your primary care physician
Please be prepared to provide the following documentation at the time of your appointment:
- Insurance card(s)
- Complete list of medications (including types, dosages and allergies)
- Complete medical history and records, as well as records of Surgeries/Procedures and diagnostic test reports, including actual films or tracings
Follow-up appointments may be coordinated directly with your physician's scheduler

The Anticoagulation Clinic is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; closed 12:00-1:30 p.m.
Who can be seen at the Anticoagulation Clinic?
Patients of Eisenhower Desert Cardiology Center who have a referral from their cardiologist may be seen at the Anticoagulation Clinic.

Where is the closest laboratory to perform my lab work?
Eisenhower LabTechniques department is available for our patients on the Eisenhower campus conveniently located in the Dolores Hope Building. Visit LabTechniques here.
Do I need an appointment for lab work?
No appointment is necessary for lab work. However, you may schedule an appointment online or by phone for your convenience. Our check-out attendant will complete all of the necessary lab order forms for you when you complete your visit with us to take with you to the lab.
How long does it take to get lab and test results back?
One to two days is customary for lab results from Eisenhower LabTechniques. Test result times as well as lab results from outside labs may vary.
How do I get a copy of my lab/test results?
Lab results are shown in your Eisenhower MyChart account or you can request a copy of your lab/test results during your next office visit, or your may request a copy from Health Information Managment utilizing a Request for Medical Records form.
How do I obtain a cardiac clearance?
Please phone your cardiologist's clinical assistant and provide the following information:
- Requesting physician's name
- Requesting physician office phone fax, address
- Upcoming procedure
Your clinical assistant will then provide your information to your cardiologist who will either request an appointment if you have not been seen recently or forward your clearance to your requesting physician.
How do I get a prescription refill?
Simply contact your pharmacy with your prescription request and your cardiologist's name and phone number. Please allow 48 hours for prescription refills.
How can I get a copy of my medical records?
Medical Records are shown in your Eisenhower MyChart account and can be shared with other hospitals and providers or upon receiving a signed and dated Request for Medical Records form, a copy of your records will be sent to you within ten (10) business days. If records must be immediately copied, there will be a $25 charge.
