Pancreatic and Hepatobiliary (HPB) Cancer Surgery Clinic
Eisenhower Health, affiliated with UC San Diego Health Cancer Network, now offers specialty care for hepatobiliary system cancers. Hepatobiliary (HPB) cancers includes cancers of the pancreas, liver, gall bladder and bile duct. This clinic is open to all patients.
How to get started.
• If you have been diagnosed with an hepatobiliary or pancreatic cancer, you will be referred to the Eisenhower Hepatobiliary Specialty Clinic for a consultation with the HPB Cancer Team.
• If surgery is required, you and your oncologist will have a consultation with one of our HPB specialty surgeons to develop a treatment plan.
• Surgery will take place in San Diego at UC San Diego Health.
• Follow-up treatment may take place at the Eisenhower Lucy Curci Cancer Center in Rancho Mirage.

Andrew M. Lowy, MD, is a surgical oncologist with expertise in treating cancers of the pancreas and GI tract. Dr. Lowy is recognized worldwide for his expertise in pancreatic cancer surgery and in the management of complex gastrointestinal cancers. Bryan Clary, MD, is a board-certified surgeon who provides surgical care for patients with diseases of the liver, pancreas and bile ducts. He is a part of the gastrointestinal and pancreatic cancer teams at Moores Cancer Center at UC San Diego Health.
