Vision 2025
With Vision 2025, the Oncology Center of Excellence's goal has been to elevate the cancer care at Eisenhower Health from good quality to “ideal” cancer care.
Our measures of success to achieve “ideal” cancer care are:
- Building a cancer program that delivers local access to world-class cancer expertise and technology
- Earning national recognition for high-quality cancer care
- Sustainable volume and margin growth to fund investment in future talent and technology.
Process
Starting in 2020, a large group of physicians, administrators and executives from across the health system have been meeting regularly to carry out plan goals. Each member – past and present – has played an integral role and had a huge impact on the success of the plan.
Twelve distinct steering committees comprised of a total of 104 participants (including 43 physicians) met a total of 262 times over five years to accomplish this important work—focusing on a total of 159 distinct projects.
Of the 159 projects identified, 124 are completed representing 90% of the overall strategic plan. A list of impact areas are listed to the right and summarize the achievements in each area.
