Injured Workers Program
The key to successful treatment of injured workers includes quick medical attention and a unique understanding of the psychology of the injured worker.
Eisenhower’s Rehabilitation Services department focuses on prevention of work injuries as well as the care needed to return the injured worker to their job as soon as possible. Staff is specially trained in the care of the injured worker from the acute injury phase through return to work.
Included in the injured workers program are functional capacity evaluations. This two hour evaluation is designed to identify injured worker’s functional capacities and abilities in relation to work and other functional activities.
How to Get Started
A physician's prescription with a diagnosis is required. An initial appointment can be made by contacting the desired location. If faxing the prescription, please include the patient's telephone number so that an appointment may be scheduled. Following the initial evaluation by a licensed therapist, additional appointments will be made based on medical necessity. Treatment at Eisenhower Health's Rehabilitation Services department is covered by most workers compensation insurances.
