At Eisenhower Health, our experienced and dedicated surgical team is skilled in a full range of services, from routine procedures to treatments for rare or complex conditions. Eisenhower Surgical Services offers patients the expertise and resources of a major medical center, coupled with personal care and attention. We are equipped with the most advanced technology and tools for both inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures.
All of our operating rooms are staffed by Magnet®-designated nurses, certified surgical technologists, and Board Certified Anesthesiologists and Surgeons. Our multidisciplinary teams meet to discuss patients’ medical history, diagnostic testing, surgical procedures, treatment options and pain management. We also have dedicated surgical nurse specialists who are here to coordinate your treatment and answer questions.

Robotic Surgery
Robotic surgery is on example of advance minimally invasive surgery and many times a great alternative to open surgery. Through robotic technologies like the da Vinci® Surgical System and the Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Surgical System®, major surgery can be performed through the smallest of incisions. Benefits include less pain, less blood loss, a shorter hospital stay and a faster return to normal daily activities.
Flexibility
Eisenhower offers more surgery locations and operating rooms than any other health system in the Coachella Valley. For the convenience of patients and medical staff, we offer several locations for outpatient surgeries and the Main operating room in the hospital for more complex and inpatient surgeries. Outpatient locations include the Jerry and Kathleen Grundhofer Surgery Center for outpatient surgeries, a nearby surgery center in Rancho Mirage, and the David and Joan Traitel Orthopedic Surgery Center for orthopedic procedures. Your surgeon will determine which facility is the best location for your surgery based on your condition and individual needs.
