AUDIBLE is a US-based, multi-site, clinical study designed to collect cases for 3D Automated Breast Ultrasound imaging with iSono ATUSA from a cohort of female subjects with previously-identified suspicious findings (BIRADs 4 or 5) on standard-of-care diagnostic imaging (e.g., hand-held ultrasound, mammogram), who are scheduled for a biopsy, to build a registry of multi-modality breast images and biopsy results. We plan to enroll up to 800 eligible female patients with suspicious findings. Besides the imaging data, the patient's medical record and follow-up biopsy results will be collected.
Official Title
ATUSA Ultrasound Diagnostic Imaging for Breast Lesions Evaluation (AUDIBLE), a Case Collection Registry for 3D Breast Automated Ultrasound using ATUSA system as well as other breast imaging modalities.

Azadeh Elmi, MD, is a Board Certified Radiologist specializing in Breast Imaging, seeing patients at the Eisenhower Lucy Curci Cancer Center Schnitzer-Novack Breast Center in Rancho Mirage.
After medical school, Dr. Elmi completed an internship at Griffin Hospital/Yale School of Medicine and then continued her medical education by completing a residency program in radiology at University of Pennsylvania. She subsequently finished a fellowship program in Breast Imaging at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
Dr. Elmi first became interested in medicine at an early age by observing her mother, who is an internist. “I was able to see the great satisfaction my mother received at her work caring for her patients,” states Dr. Elmi.
While in medical school, Dr. Elmi became interested in radiology as it integrates technology with medicine to provide high level patient care. “During my residency in radiology, I became interested in Breast Imaging as a specialty,” explains Dr. Elmi. “Breast radiology touches all aspects of radiology – mammogram, CT, MRI and biopsy, as well as providing personal satisfaction in being able to diagnose a cancer early and setting the stage to provide the best patient care and treatment possible.”
