Preparing for Your Delivery
Creating a Birth Preferences Plan
We encourage you to fill out the Eisenhower Family Birth Center Birth Preferences Plan so we can best provide an environment that will make you most comfortable, physically and emotionally. The birth plan is an opportunity to let us know your wishes about pain management, visitors, cultural or religious practices, and more.
OB Registration
We strongly recommend that you pre-register during your second trimester. This enables us to admit you as rapidly as possible when labor begins. You must register in person at Eisenhower Medical Center.
Please bring your driver’s license or state identification card and insurance card when you come in to the hospital. If you have MyChart (electronic medical record), information from your records there can be linked.
Virtual Maternity Tour
To protect the safety of our patients, we are unable to offer in-person tours during the COVID-19 pandemic. If you are interested in delivering at Eisenhower Family Birth Center, we encourage you to take our virtual tour.
