Workplace of the Year
Eisenhower Medical Center is the recipient of the Advisory Board “Workplace of the Year Award for 2017” from Advisory Board Survey Solutions, which conducted Eisenhower Medical Center’s most recent employee engagement survey in October of 2016. This award was presented to twenty organizations in the survey division’s national database of hospitals that demonstrated the highest levels of engagement within the Advisory Board Survey Solutions national database, coupled with lower-than-average levels of disengagement.
Eisenhower Medical Center is also the recipient of the Advisory Board “Workplace Transformation Award for 2017” presented to organizations in the survey division’s national database of hospitals that demonstrated the highest levels of improvement in engagement, coupled with lower-than-average levels of disengagement. Eisenhower Medical Center received these awards at the Advisory Board’s 2017 National Employee Engagement Summit on March 30, 2017. Prior to this survey, Eisenhower Medical Center had been the recipient of the Advisory Board’s “2013 Excellence in Engagement Award” and Gallup Great Workplace Award for 2009 and 2011.
Best Hospitals for Nurses
Eisenhower Medical Center earns top honors as a nurse employer in California. Named Nurse.org’s #1 Best Hospital for Nurses in California. Nurse.org, the web’s leading career site for nurses, has recognized Eisenhower Medical Center as the best hospital for nurses to work for in the state of California. Over the past two years, Nurse.org has collected more than 1,853 reviews from nurses at 314 California hospitals about their workplace satisfaction. Reviews in California have revealed that Eisenhower Medical Center has one of the highest levels of satisfaction among its nurses.
Reviewers cited a “great education department,” “fair scheduling,” and “amazing technology” as the basis for the 4.8 star rating with 100% of the nurses surveyed recommending the hospital as an employer.
