Worried whether low-dose radiation could relieve your joint pain from osteoarthritis? Kamal Patel, MD, Medical Director of BIGHORN Radiation Oncology Center at the Eisenhower Lucy Curci Cancer Center, explains how low-dose radiotherapy targets inflammation in the joint. You'll learn who may be a good candidate, how it complements other treatments, typical treatment locations (hips, knees, shoulders), safety differences between low and high radiation doses, and what doctors discuss before referring a patient.
